This web site is designed to show my journey as I learn about Astrophotography!

First trials were based on the usual of trying to shoot a camera through the eyepiece of a telescope. This is difficult to say the least and bound to put people off.

Next, we moved up to using a Celestron 5MP CCD camera. I haven't done much with this to date, but will once the weather clears.

Currently I am using a Canon EOS 60D camera with 18MP with a Canon mount and connection direct into the Celestron 8" telescope. This seems to be working better, but again, we need some clear weather to really progress.
